Fernández Vara criticizes Page’s attitude and affirms that to be loyal to Spain you must first be loyal to the project that is represented. Fernández Vara criticizes García Page for his attitude towards the socialist project.
The president of Castilla La Mancha and one of the socialist barons most critical of Pedro Sánchez, Emiliano García Page, has opposed the policy of confrontation with Alberto Núñez Feijóo maintained by the general secretary of the socialists. On this matter, Fernández Vara stressed that he “does not share the diagnosis of permanent confrontation”, as well as “generating confusion, debate and internal division” a decision that, in the words of the Extremaduran president, does not lead to anything and is not good for the country.
Regarding the statements and attitude of the Castilian-La Mancha counterpart, he stressed that one cannot be loyal to Spain if he is not loyal to his political project because, as he stated, “the PSOE has been there whenever Spain has needed us,” said the Extremaduran.
“I believe that generating confusion, debate and internal division leads to absolutely nothing and is also not good for the country”, the Extremaduran president then pointed out, asked this Tuesday in Mérida (in line with a conference of women leaders organized by UGT) for the defense made in an interview in ‘El Mundo’ by García Page of the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo.
Finally, asked whether García Page spoke this past weekend at the Federal Political Council of the PSOE, Fernández Vara refused to answer. “I have nothing more to say”, he concluded.
