American Jews pressure Israeli officials to make concessions

News

Jewish Americans have been pressing Israeli leaders to compromise on a number of issues, including the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the Iranian nuclear program. Jewish Americans have been advocating for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and have urged the Israeli government to engage in direct talks with Iranian leaders. They have also spoken out in favor of continued negotiations with the Palestinians, as well as a freeze on settlement construction in the West Bank. Jewish Americans have also voiced their support for a nuclear deal with Iran that would lift economic sanctions in exchange for restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program.
