I believe that the best way to address the US drug overdose crisis is by implementing effective public health policies, providing increased access to treatment and harm reduction services, and increasing public awareness and education on the risks of drug use. We must also work together to reduce the demand for illegal drugs and strengthen efforts to disrupt illicit drug trafficking networks. Hugs are not enough to stop the crisis, but we can take meaningful action to tackle the root causes of drug addiction.
