Cyclone Mocha has reportedly killed at least three people in Myanmar as it made landfall in the coastal country on Saturday, December 26. The cyclone caused major damage to the country, with reports of more than 200 homes destroyed and thousands of people left homeless. The storm also caused major flooding and landslides in some areas, with many roads blocked due to fallen trees.

The government of Myanmar has set up relief camps and emergency response teams in affected areas. Myanmar’s President, U Win Myint, also issued a statement expressing his condolences for those who lost their lives in the storm and urging the government to take all necessary steps to assist those affected.
