The Lahore High Court (LHC) has granted bail to Bushra Maneka, the wife of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, in a case related to the Al-Qadir Trust.
The court ordered her to pay a surety of Rs. 100,000 in the case, which was registered in 2017 by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) against Maneka and her husband for alleged misuse of funds from the trust.
The court also directed Maneka to appear before the investigation officer when summoned and to surrender her passport.
This is the second case in which Maneka has been granted bail by the LHC. In June, the court granted her bail in a case related to the misuse of the trust’s funds for the purchase of a vehicle.
