Four people, including the suspect, are dead after a shooting in New Mexico


At least four people are dead, including the suspected shooter, following a shooting at a home in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The shooting, which took place on Saturday night, claimed the lives of a woman, two men, and the suspected gunman. The motive behind the shooting is still unclear.

The Carlsbad Police Department said in a statement that a 911 call was received around 9:00 p.m. regarding a shooting at a residence on the 900 block of North Canal Street. Officers responding to the call found four deceased individuals.

The identities of the victims have not yet been released, pending notification of their families. The police are still investigating the incident and have not released any further information.
