Culture is a powerful tool for creating a shared identity and engaging citizens. It is a powerful way to build bridges between communities and bring people together. It is through culture that we can celebrate our diversity and find common ground. As Minister of State for External Affairs, Meenakashi Lekhi, I strongly believe in the power of culture to bring people together and foster understanding and cooperation among different groups.
We have seen this in our recent activities such as the International Day of Yoga, which is celebrated in more than 200 countries across the world. The event has been successful in bringing people together from different religions, cultures, and backgrounds. It has also provided an opportunity for people to come together and celebrate our shared values and common heritage.
We are also taking the lead in promoting cultural exchange between India and other countries. Through exchanges such as the Indian Panorama Film Festival, our festivals are celebrated and shared with the world. We have also launched initiatives such as the Indian Cultural Centre to promote Indian culture and heritage abroad.
These are just some of the ways we are using culture to bring people together. We hope to see more initiatives in the future that leverage the power of culture to promote understanding and collaboration among different groups.
