Indian diaspora in Papua New Guinea are elated at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to their country. They organized several functions to welcome the PM to their country and expressed their love and support for his leadership.
Many of them expressed their admiration for the Indian leader and the developments he has brought to India since coming to power in 2014. They also expressed their desire to receive more attention from the Indian government and its support for India-PNG ties.
They said that having PM Modi visit their country will help to strengthen India-PNG relations and boost investment in their country. They believe his visit will provide an opportunity to leverage India’s potential in many areas like healthcare, education, energy, and small and medium-sized businesses. They also expressed their support for his efforts to reduce poverty and provide equal opportunities for all citizens.
