The Indian Embassy in Australia has strongly condemned the vandalism of a Hindu temple in the country. The High Commissioner to Australia, Shri Harinder Sidhu has expressed his deep disappointment and termed the incident as “unacceptable”.
The High Commissioner has also noted the great responsiveness of the Australian authorities in addressing the issue. The Australian police have taken prompt action in investigating the case and have arrested a suspect believed to be involved in the vandalism. The Embassy has expressed its appreciation for the Australian authorities’ efforts and has assured full cooperation in the investigation.
