Air India and Air India Express will operate special Haj flights for pilgrims to fly to various destinations in India in view of the Haj 2020 operations amid the coronavirus crisis. The two airlines will continue to fly scheduled flights as well as special flights to cater to the special demand. The flight services will be available between Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.
The special flights will be operated from July 15th to August 2nd and the fares will be announced soon. Air India and Air India Express will ensure strict social distancing measures and maximum safety by allowing only asymptomatic persons in the flights. Air India Express has also increased the frequency of their flights connecting Jeddah and Chennai for the Haj 2020 season.
