Actor Ray Stevenson, best known for his roles in Punisher: War Zone, Thor and The Three Musketeers has passed away at the age of 58.
The actor’s death was announced by his agency, which said that the cause of death was natural causes.
Stevenson was born in England and moved to Ireland at the age of 14. He had a long career in television and movies, appearing in a variety of projects like Romeo + Juliet, Killshot and King Arthur.
He was most notably known for his roles of Frank Castle in Punisher: War Zone, Volstagg in Thor and Aramis in The Three Musketeers.
The actor also starred in television series such as Rome and Dexter and had a recurring role in Fox’s Glee.
Stevenson’s family and friends have expressed their condolences and grief over his passing. It is believed that his death was peaceful and unexpected.
