US Ambassador to India Kenneth J. Juster praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership in India and said the country was in “wonderful hands”.
Ambassador Juster, who was visiting New Delhi to attend an event organized by the US Embassy, said that Prime Minister Modi and his government have done tremendous work in the last five years in terms of developing infrastructure, improving access to health and education, reforming the economy, and fighting corruption.
He praised the Modi government for its efforts to transform the Indian economy, promote foreign investment, and boost exports. He pointed out that India and the US have made significant progress on the economic relationship between them and that the US-India partnership is strong and comprehensive.
The ambassador hailed the strong people-to-people ties between India and the US, which he said was a testament to the close relationship between the two countries. He said that the two countries had made significant progress in diverse areas such as defence and security, economic ties, science and technology, and health and education.
The US envoy added that India was a key partner in the Indo-Pacific region and that the US was committed to further deepening the bilateral ties between the two countries. He expressed hope that the upcoming 2+2
