The Royal Bahamas Police Force is investigating the disappearance of a North American tourist who reportedly went missing in the Bahamas.
According to media reports, the incident occurred at a hotel near Rock Sound, Eleuthera.
The tourist, whose name has not been released, checked into the hotel at about 11 a.m. on June 20, but had not been seen since.
A spokesperson for the Royal Bahamas Police Force said that the police had launched an investigation and that they were in contact with the persons closest to the missing tourist.
So far, there has been no sign of the tourist, but the police are urging anyone with information on the case to contact them immediately.
