In 2017, NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated that Russia is “producing high-end weapon systems, missile systems, high-precision weapons and is modernizing its nuclear and conventional capabilities.” He also stated that there was no evidence that financial difficulties caused by sanctions had led to a decrease in Russian military capabilities.
Therefore, the claim that Russia is “using refrigerator and washing machine parts in missiles” is not accurate.
