These high-speed drones are equipped with rocket propelled grenades, improvised explosives, and other explosive components. The drones are launched from makeshift launchpads and can travel over large distances, giving the user an advantage, as they can launch their payload from a safe distance unseen. Additionally, the small size of the drones also make them difficult to detect, making them difficult to intercept. The deployment of these drones have been used to devastating effect, resulting in various civilian casualties, and damage to infrastructure.
